We support club staff members to deliver inclusive PE kit policies that enable more enjoyment and participation.
Sports kit should be comfortable, affordable, practical, inclusive and offer a range of choice. Sports kit policy should be designed to support this.
We have partnered with expert organisations to develop unique support for clubs to lift the barrier sports kit, and champion inclusion in activity.

Expert Guidance
Our School Guidance is written in collaboration with the Youth Sport Trust.
Created to help school members to understand PE kit policy and implement the Inclusive Sportswear Charter.
- Split into sections to support understanding of:
- Why PE Kit matters.
- How to create more inclusive PE Kit policy.
- What an inclusive PE kit policy looks like.
- Toolkit of resources.
Full of real case studies and helpful advice to ensure you are equipped with knowledge. Illustrated by Pritchard’s Pencil.
Presented in bite-size infographic slides for you to explore at your own pace.
Advocate Training
- The 30-minute course focuses on ensuring inclusive PE kits are developed and available for pupils in all schools, helping you feel confident in your knowledge of the Guidance.
- Complete the training to become an official Inclusive Sportswear Advocate.
- Gain certificate of completion.
- Becoming an Inclusive Sportswear Advocate unlocks your ability to begin the Inclusive Sportswear School Champion process if you choose to become your school’s ‘Lead Advocat
Expert Guidance
- The School Champion Process has been designed with the Youth Sport Trust as a simple way to support school staff to implement effective change in PE kit policies to improve inclusion and participation.
- The four steps are outlined below, click to learn more about each one.
- Only one school staff member – the ‘Lead Advocate’ – will be able to submit the School Champion process for your school. Lead Advocates also get perks like access to online.
- Successful completion of the School Champion process will earn the school Inclusive Sportswear School Champion certification for two years.
- Your School will be entered into the annual Inclusive Sportswear Champion Awards.
- Every two years will be asked you take the Review stage again to see if you continue to meet our School Champion requirements.
