Who we are
We are a small team with big ambition.
We are leading a movement in sportswear policies to champion rigorous inclusivity, dismantle participation barriers, and inspire belonging for every body in sport.
We design inclusive sports kit policy & influence culture to make choice the norm across schools, clubs, brands & national governing bodies.
Why? Because sports kit continues to be one of the most underrated causes of drop-outs and discomfort in sport.
We want to see systemic change in the sport and PE kit policy landscape where participation, performance, enjoyment and belonging in sport and PE always determines kit choices.
WHAT WE DO
OUR CHARTER
We operate the Inclusive Sportswear Charter, the first standard for sports kit policy based on inclusion and choice.
We connect the sector’s approach to sports kit policy; schools, clubs, brands and NGBs can pledge to the Charter and enact their pledge through becoming a Champion or creating a Champion Project.
OUR PLATFORM
We provide free online access to inclusive sports kit policy expert guidance & resources.
The Platform helps teachers and club staff to learn about and build inclusive PE kit policies and become Champions.
Built with Youth Sport Trust, it launched in 2025, and has over 400 members already. Paid for by sponsorship.
CHAMPION PROJECTS
We activate cross-ecosystem projects that advance inclusive kit policy and culture to make choice the norm.
For example, our ASICS Undropped PE Kit, London Mavericks Netball Choice Kit, Education Webinars and our School ‘Fix the Kit’ Campaign.
POLICY EXPERTISE
With expertise in inclusive kit policy, we Influence and support governing bodies to design inclusive kit policy based off the Charter principles.
We also offer bespoke research project work and delivery of implementation strategies for systemic change in sports kit inclusion landscapes.

TESS HOWARD
Our Founder is Team GB Olympian, Tess Howard MBE. Over the last few years, Tess has led the successful campaign for international hockey to change their clothing regulations to allow choice of shorts and skorts in the same team - where previously only skorts could be worn. This hard-fought change is the culmination of her academic paper on the effects of gendered sports uniforms and her own discomfort as an elite athlete wearing sexualised gendered kit.
Tess is determined the movement not stop at hockey or just in the UK, and is on a mission to educate, advocate and inspire a movement in inclusive sports kit policies based on choice and comfort.
